We have said before that everything we make is an overflow of our lives and what is in our hearts. That has never been more true than when we had the idea of this set for our daughters.

Our girls were so excited when we brought home the Prone To Wander Colored Lip Balm set, but those colors on young girls would never do. So we created these colors for them. We want to let girls be girls, to make believe and imagine in the wonder of innocence, and feel special without wearing colors that make us as mothers cringe. The colors are sheer (yes, even the purple!), and we sweetened them with organic stevia. Because, really, sweetness in lip balms, as in little girls, is too hard to resist!

The really special part of these lip balms is that each color represents a different virtue. This might be our favorite part. Maybe it’s because we have old souls. Maybe it’s just because beautiful character never goes out of style. But we want to reclaim words in danger of being lost to our culture – to revive the virtues in both conversation and manifestation. We want to instill in our girls the idea that being virtuous and being beautiful can coexist.
